Our farm is always open and available for you to stop by and see our food growing and our staff working while you check out the offerings in our self-serve farmstand. But this Saturday is special.
From 10:00 – 4:00, we are open to greet you and meet you, help you choose plants for your garden, let you sample organic flatbread, straight from our wood fired oven. We are here to answer your questions, explain to you what organic farming is and why it is so important. We are on hand to show you how we make our living from farming and how all of the produce we sell is always grown by us, right here, plus describe how we most like to prepare and eat the vegetables.
We’re here to show you how our wood fired oven works and let you taste the wonders that we pull off of the hearth. We are here to tell you why we only use 100% Certified Organic flours and grains in our farmstead bakery products.
We’ll also have all sorts of things for you to pick up while here:
Vegetables to eat: Kale, Spinach, Microgreens, Hearty Greens Mix, Cucumbers, Radishes.

Our guided Farm Tour is at 3:00. If you would like to participate, be prepared for a 45 minute walk-and-talk. Driving directions are found on our website here. Parking in a nearby field is labeled. The weather is forecasted to be dry, but we’ll be here rain or shine. See you then!
Meanwhile, this week’s harvest includes:
Cucumbers!!, Hearty Greens Mix, Kale, Microgreens, Spinach, Radishes, Turnips, and our Naturally Leavened, Hearth Baked Bread and Granola.
* It’s true! We are harvesting cucumbers! We work hard to get these extra early each year, but this doesn’t mean you should see them at the farmers’ markets yet. (If you do, you should ask really good questions of the booth staff…) We are making these available to our CSA members and at our Farm Day. And everyone can see them here growing – they are in the greenhouse across the drive from our farmstand.
