Directions to our farm from Richmond: 9501 Deer Range Rd, Moseley VA 23120 – Take the Hull Street Road exit off of 288, West toward Amelia. Deer Range Road is directly off Hull Street (about 9 miles after the 288 exit) on the left after you pass Grange Hall Elementary. We are at the very end of the road (1.5 miles). Signs will direct you to parking.  When you get to the cul-de-sac where the pavement ends, you are looking at our house, barn, fields of vegetables, and greenhouses. The front of the large barn, accessed by the middle driveway from the cul-de-sac, hosts our plant sale, farmstand, and serves as the hub of the day’s events.

web tunnel

(pictured above: one of our two unheated greenhouses, full of summer crops and a smattering of late spring crops)
Tours describe our Certified Naturally Grown farming practices, including permanent raised beds, high-tunnel cultivation (unheated greenhouses), greenhouse seedling propagation, farm-scale composting, bio-intensive planting, organic soil management, soil microbiology, soil mineralization for plant (and thus human) health, mulch for weed-suppression and other weed management practices, pest management, and macro- and micro-nutrient management.

If you aren’t able to join us for our Plant Sale, you can purchase a limited selection of our plants at Perk! Coffee and Lunchbox in Bon Air. Check them out and see how our plants pair with java and pastry. We hear their iced coffee is wicked good.
