We’re a month away from actual Spring, but it feels like Spring has arrived! Our greenhouse is filling up with baby plants:
Garlic is growing nicely in the field: (It gets planted in the fall.)
And our family orchard is seriously teasing us with blossoms! This Apricot blooms in February each year. Which, of course, means that it will never be able to fruit in our climate. We knew this when we purchased it. We just wanted gorgeous pink blooms on our farm in February, and this is how to do it!
All of this is how it looks to be surrounded by food (in different stages) in February. We love to share it with you via this newsletter. And we really love to harvest it and share it with you through our CSA and the farmers’ markets.
